input from rental dealers to create a series of
professionally-produced television commercials which are
available to our members for just a minimal customization fee.
These commercials would cost thousands of dollars for our rental

The nation’s top electronic,
appliance and furniture vendors wrapped up a 16-hour buying show
Wednesday that is expected to be one of the most successful-to-date for
the PrimeTime-Nationwide marketing group.
Major vendors reported placing more orders during the first day
of this two-day show than they did during the entire two-day
show held this past August in Las Vegas. Others cited increases
in volume of as much as 40% over previous show totals, which
would indicate a record-setting purchase pace for the
RentDirect-Nationwide group.
Mike Bertolani, National Sales Manager for SED International
summed up the show’s success. “Our company enjoyed a significant
increase in sales over the last show. In fact, we’ve increased
sales significantly with each show we have participated in as a
RentDirect-Nationwide vendor. They do such an exceptional job of
bringing in new members and that’s just one way our volume
increases. We are also finding that people seem more willing
than before to try new products and broaden their lines. We
definitely sold more ‘step-up’ merchandise this show.”
Before the show ended, a drawing was held to distribute more
than $100,000 in major prizes to participating dealers including
his and hers Rolex watches, $20,000 in U.S. Savings Bonds and a
2007 Ford F-150 SuperCrew XLT pick up truck.

rental vendors and dealers during RentDirect-Nationwide’s
biannual trade show The Power of One. One highlight of our
coverage is a conversation with Steve Bryant from RentDirect
partner Nationwide Primedia. Bryant’s production company
premiered four separate HD television commercials created
exclusively for the rental market. These spots are easily
customized and are designed to give independent dealers a
professional look for a minimal investment.
More than 3,000 participants were present for the
RentDirect-Nationwide PrimeTime! buying show. The next
RentDirect buying show will take place at The Venetian Resort in
Las Vegas August 19 – 22, 2007.
