Rent to Own Maven
The United States has the Dollar, Japan has the Yen,
Great Britain has the Euro. I immigrated to the United States from Rent'to'ownistan.
A small country on the border of Retail'stan, just south of Leaseburg.
Of all the things I love about Rentoownistan, our currency
(the 'Agreement') was the best. It was a beautiful currency, very large,
with multicolored copies. It's value was based on ARR (Average
Rental Rate) and had an exchange rate of about 1 Agreement to $80 US.
Whenever a business owner in my country wanted to buy
something, all they had to do was ask themselves two questions...
Things were much simpler then. I was digging through my
steamer trunk the other day (everyone in my country had a steamer trunk)
and ran across an old copy of the "Cardclose Tribune" my
hometown newspaper. Here are some of the items advertised, and their
monthly rates.

Remember the good old day's when a night on the town only
cost 1 Agreement? When a guy could fill up his tank, buy his best girl a
burger, and still have Agreements left over". Not any more.
These days, Agreements are hard to come by. We have to
constantly ask ourselves...
"How many Agreements will it cost?"
