SED International, Inc., a leading distributor of computer, consumer electronics, and cellular products, announced the signing of an agreement with Microsoft Corporation that makes the company an Authorized Distributor for Microsoft OEM System Builder Products effective January 1, 2007. SED was previously an Associate Distributor for Microsoft.

As part of the agreement, all Microsoft Channel Partners will receive full program benefits when purchasing from SED International. Microsoft provides numerous benefits through its Partner Program, including marketing, training, and enhanced support resources. System builders participate in the Microsoft Partner Program at any of three program levels: Registered, Certified, and Gold; dependant on qualifications and requirements.
