Southeast Auto Dealers Rental Association (SEADRA) and The Premier Companies have joined forces to help automobile dealers draw on a growing domestic used car rental market. Premier Rent ‘N' Ride was just launched with SEADRA's marketing manager, Michael Garner, as president. It will be headquartered in New Orleans.

According to Garner, "Eight out of every 10 people that walk on the average car lot in the United States have money for a down payment and hold a job, but have little, bad or no credit." He has shown dealers how to overcome that, and through his system and ongoing operational support, they have collectively rented more than 50,000 vehicles. Garner hopes that Premier's proven approach to franchising will bring to the market a unique opportunity for the Rent to Own industry and consumers.
