Chastain led every lap to continue his dominance at the third mile clay oval.

"I would like to take the credit for all the wins and the championships we have had over the years at Tri-County, but most of the credit has to go to car owner Randall Twiggs and crew chief Scotty Roberson," said Johnny. "Randall has more laps and more experience on that track than anyone on the planet. He gives me a great car and I all I have to do is keep from running into things."

In the next 12 days, the Blondes Motorsports/Twiggs Garage GTO will run a total of five races for one of their busiest parts of the season. The schedule calls for racing at Tri-County and Sugar Creek this weekend. Then the team will make two of Ray Cook’s Southern National races, one at Cleveland Speedway on Tuesday night and Tri-County on Thursday night. Then it is back to Sugar Creek on Friday night and to the lake on Saturday night as Tri-County will not be running.

"We have the car running well and are looking forward to racing the Ray Cook specials at tracks that we know," said Twiggs.
