Gary Hughes was named 2005's
ColorTyme
Franchisee of the Year today at the company's summer convention
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is the fourth time Hughes
has received the "Eagle Award", ColorTyme's highest honor.
ColorTyme Vice President Sam Lowe said the Eagle Award, a
crystal eagle with gold talons, dates back to Willie Talley,
founder of ColorTyme. "The Eagle Award is a tremendous tradition
at ColorTyme. The winner represents the best of the best." The
award is given based on year over year growth as well as other
intangibles.
Pat Sumner, ColorTyme's director of franchise development, sees
the award as a recognition of outside-the-box thinking. "It's
about entrepreneurship, and doing what it takes to get the job
done."
