Over 300 are expected to attend this week's annual ColorTyme Convention in Memphis, Tennessee. In addition to training seminars and a tradeshow (see agenda), the event will feature keynote speaker John Cassis, former player for the California Angels, Youth Counselor, Minister, and Pre-game Inspirational Speaker for Chicago Bears since 1983.

John has an interesting background. He played baseball with the California Angels organization for 3 years, then changed uniforms and became a minister. It's appropriate that the local newspaper welcomed John with the headline... "Ex-Angel Comes to Preach!"

The 2006 ColorTyme Convention in Memphis, Tennessee will feature keynote speaker John Cassis, former player for the California Angels, Youth Counselor, Minister, and Pre-game Inspirational Speaker for Chicago Bears since 1983.

His effectiveness as a motivator stems from distinguished academic beginnings. John Cassis graduated from the University of Cincinnati by cramming a 4-Year program into 5 1/2 years! Cassis says he graduated in the half of the class that made the top half possible!

In 1980, as director of special projects for World Relief, John Cassis accepted the challenge to motivate people across the country to help feed hungry children and their families.

Since 1983, his own company has helped organizations across America recognize ways they can "Catch a Second Wind" during challenging days of change. The U.S. Department of Justice, CIA, IBM, Motorola, Mayo Clinic and The Million Dollar Roundtable are just some of the groups that have enjoyed his genuine, fun, and uplifting style.

Finally, John served as the pre-game inspirational speaker for the Chicago Bears football team for 12 years (1983 to 1995). Mike Ditka simply calls John "One of the Best."
