Attendees of the ARDA Fall Conference Educational Seminars

The Arkansas Rental Dealers Association (ARDA) wrapped up it's 2004 Fall Conference Wednesday with a series of educational seminars.

Human Resource Consultant Jim Corter, President of Corter Consultants, provided insight into various personality types and how best to create relationships with each based on their needs.

Phylllis McKenzie of Lax, Vaughn, Fortson, McKenzie & Rowe educated the group on the do's and don'ts of handling rent to own customers who declare bankruptcy. Representatives from RES Marketing, SED International, DSI Systems, Climatic Corporation (Frigidaire), and GE were all on hand to give product training and

ARDA President Alan Frazier announced the group is searching for a lobbyist to represent the interest of rental dealers in the state capitol. There are several lawsuits pending in Arkansas that, depending on the outcome, could negatively affect the industry. "We're ready to stand and fight" said Frazier.
