DALLAS, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ACE Cash Express, Inc
(Nasdaq: AACE) announced today that it has donated $25,000 to the Tampa Bay
Chapter of the American Red Cross.
"We are pleased to be able to come to the aid of our neighbors and
customers in Florida," stated Jay B. Shipowitz, President and CEO. "We want
our $25,000 donation to help rebuild the lives of those affected by the
hurricanes in the Tampa area."
ACE's check was presented to Tampa Bay Red Cross Chapter CEO Jim Martin by
ACE Regional Vice President Bobby Williams. "On behalf of the Tampa community
and everyone on the Red Cross team we very much appreciate the generosity of
ACE Cash Express. These dollars will go directly to families in our area who
have been devastated by hurricane damage. I hope this significant donation
from ACE will inspire other area businesses to come forward with these needed
dollars," stated Mr. Martin.
