La-Z-Boy has reorganized its sales
and marketing management team.
"This is a young, talented team who knows our target customer
well and understands how to ensure La-Z-Boy's success in a
challenging and changing business environment," said Steve
Matlock, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Jennifer Sievertsen, vice president of brand marketing, leads
all brand and retail marketing while Mark Wagner, vice president
of store development and marketing, oversees the strategic
direction of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores.
"Jen's responsibilities are focused on brand marketing and
improving brand loyalty among our target customers," said
Matlock.
Greg White, vice president of merchandising and sales, continues
to lead the merchandising team. Paula Hoyas, vice president of
upholstery merchandising, manages the overall strategic
direction of upholstery merchandising, including the design,
development, introduction and profitability of all upholstery
products. Additionally, the company has appointed Bob Ireland to
develop strategic initiatives necessary to grow the tables,
lamps and accessories segment of the La-Z-Boy business.
"Occasional products and accessories are becoming a bigger part
of our retail success strategy, and having Bob on board will
allow us to maximize our opportunities," said White.
Kim Roussey now serves as vice president of sales services, a
role that replaces the traditional vice president of customer
service, in order to integrate support for consumers, sales
representatives and dealers under one department.
La-Z-Boy has implemented a new regional sales management
program. The company added two new regions to its North American
breakdown and realigned its current regional structure. The
regional vice presidents leading these regions are as follows:
-- Ron Balzer, Canada
-- Eric Gatton, the new Mid-Atlantic region
-- David Jones, the new Northwest region
-- Boyd Lauritsen, the renamed Southwest region
-- Brian Mossor, Midwest region
-- Doug Kinde, North Central region
-- Chip Stewart, Southeast region
-- Jim Reilly, Northeast region
Gatton and Reilly are new additions. All of the regional vice
presidents report to White.
