recommends gas models for anyone driving under 25,000 miles a
year.
"It's a great time to get a deal on new 2008 Isuzu commercial cab-over
trucks," says Michelle Dunning, sales manager with
Adobe Equipment Commercial Trucks.
Serving the RTO industry for the past 15 years, Dunning points out that even as
2009 vehicles roll out of the factory, a number of last year's models are still
on hand, complete with a new, roomier cab design that features felt durable
seats, plenty of storage compartments and new chrome grills. Available in gas or
diesel models, she recommends gas for anyone driving under 25,000 miles a year.
"Isuzu is the only one to offer gas cab-over commercial, medium-duty trucks,"
she says. "While our diesel trucks are amazing for those going on longer hauls,
both for durability and longevity, gas trucks are perfect for RTO-type local
deliveries and are several thousands of dollars less."
She continues, "My RTO customers like our trucks for several reasons, not the
least of which is their durability, comfort and economic value. They also are
ideal for RTO industry deliveries because of the power lift gate and ramp.
People tell me these make it seem like they have an extra delivery person. And
we have many other features that let one forget they're in a truck – AM/FM/CD
stereo, E-track, carpet for slats and floor, air deflectors for cabs. Among
other options, we can supply bodies on chassis from 12 -26 feet."
A preferred vendor for Premier Rental-Purchase and Aaron Rents, Adobe offers
generous lease and payment plans. They will drop ship their trucks anywhere in
the country, as well. Dunning says, "I have delivered trucks from Florida, to
Washington, New York, and Rhode Island, even Hawaii and Alaska."
