The industry has truly lost a real pioneer and friend to all of us.  I met Dowel many years ago at DEF in New Orleans and considered him more than a business associate Dowel was a friend.  My thoughts and prayers go to his family and work associates in this very difficult time.  I think we can all say we have never dealt with a more fair and knowledgeable person and it is a shame he did not have time to enjoy his much earned and deserved retirement.  The Rental Purchase Industry has lost a much loved pioneer and partner.

Dowell Arnett was a man's man.  We both loved the sport of hunting and shared many a story during meetings and trade shows. Dowell passed on too soon doing what he loved, hunting. My sincere and deepest condolences to his family.

My Deepest condolences to the Arnette Family.  As someone who began with DEF and worked through all the changes up to and including The RAC acquisition I have much respect for Mr. Arnette's abilities and credit much of my success to him.  He will be missed personally and professionally.
