The ultimate success is to be regarded as a good man by your family and friends. No amount of money or accolades will replace seeing your son catch his first ball, or your daughter sing in the school play.

Lyn Leach served only one year as president of APRO (Association of Progressive Rental Organizations); By all accounts, one of the most productive and unifying years in the associations history. He knew from day one what his mission was and he accomplished it with passion and integrity, and in the process re-energized an entire industry.

In his farewell remarks, Lyn didn't speak about his accomplishments. Instead he said, "Home is where my heart is. I don't want to miss even one of my kids' volleyball games, football or basketball games, band concerts or horse shows. So I leave this stage one last time after having served as your president and I say, thank you."

Lyn Leach's presidency will be remembered, not only for what was accomplished, but for how he accomplished it.
