WithIt, the organization dedicated to the support and development of female professionals in the home industries, names new ambassadors for outstanding recruitment efforts in 2005.

The Ambassadors Club was started by the 9-year-old organization in 2004 to recognize those members who significantly impact WithIt’s annual growth in terms of membership. Lifetime Ambassadors are acknowledged for adding at least 15 home industry professionals to the WithIt roster in a given year.

The 2005 Lifetime Inductees are Mary Leigh Wallace, Trone Public Relations, Inc.; Kathy Wall, The Media Matters, Inc.; Dr. Karen Wade, RHR International Company; and Kathi Cunningham, Four Hands. Wall is also serving as president of WithIt’s 2006 Board of Directors.

Robin Campbell of Stanley Furniture Inc. is named Annual Ambassador for 2005, bringing 5 new members on board within that year. Campbell serves as WithIt’s Chairman for 2006 after her 2005 term as President.

All WithIt Ambassadors will be honored at this year’s WOW Awards Dinner, slated to coincide with the organization’s annual Educational Conference, scheduled for August 29 - 30. Ambassadors will receive an amethyst imbedded lapel pin, custom-designed for WithIt, and special recognition in the organization’s printed directory.

Under Wall’s direction, WithIt will focus on increasing tangible benefits to its 400 members in 2006, including access to career-building opportunities and professional development, through networking and educational events during trade shows in High Point, NC, Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York. The location for the Annual Educational Conference, scheduled for late summer, is under consideration. Wall expects to increase total membership for 2006 by 10 percent.
