The annual ColorTyme
ColorTyme Winter Operations Meeting wrapped in Dallas, Texas
Monday after the company's General Session, tradeshow and a
farewell cocktail party. Five time Super Bowl champ and NFL Hall
of Famer Rayfield Wright was the keynote speaker at Monday's
General Session.
Since retiring from the NFL, Wright’s passion and devotion to
improving the lives of at-risk, inner-city youth resulted in his
appointment to the Juvenile Supreme Court in Arizona. He also
served as president of the NFL Alumni Chapter, “Caring for Kids”
program in the mid-nineties.

President Bob Bloom. Bloom, former Thorn Americas VP, was named President of ColorTyme by Rent a
Center, ColorTyme's parent company, in June 2004.

Bloom told RTO Online that two of the best things to happen to
ColorTyme in 2006 were Amy Woods and Tim Hogan. Hogan was
appointed Vice President of Operations in January, 2006 (see
story) and Woods was named Director of marketing in April (see

ColorTyme continued it's focus on growth in 2006, adding 11 new
franchisees and opening 23 new stores. The company's expansion
into payday Loans continued with 20 ColorTyme franchisees adding
loans to their offering. RimTyme, a stand-alone custom wheels
and tire rental concept, was also added to the ColorTyme's
franchise offerings in 2006. Bloom said ColorTyme plans to open
between 25 and 40 stores in 2007.
