Bryce Co. will
contact existing M&B customers within the next few days
outlining details of the transition process.
Bryce Co. Jewelry has acquired the
rights to manufacture M&B jewelry designs. M&B Jewelry, formerly
Jerry Bogo Company, closed its doors in December, 2007 after 30
years.
The recently-finalized agreement will ensure an "uninterrupted
flow of merchandise" to customers of M&B Jewelry Designs.
Bryan Collins,
Bryce Co. President, said, "We are prepared to provide a
seamless transition for M&B customers."
Bryce Co. will contact existing M&B customers within the next
few days outlining details of the transition process.
Collins said he considered the acquisition to be a
good solution for existing M&B
customers and a unique opportunity for Bryce Co. to diversify
its offering.
Bryce, who until now offered exclusively Live jewelry programs,
will add M&Bs Alloy program as well as other M&B product lines
including promotional items.
A "Live" RTO jewelry program consists of inventory on-hand
that is
real or "ready-to-rent." Alloy programs use mock-ups, or "Alloy" models of jewelry that
require ordering the merchandise after a consumer makes a
purchase. Delivery time is usually only one or two days. Alloy programs
typically offer a wider selection and require a lower up-front
investment. Both methods have proven successful in rent-to-own.
Live programs tend to
generate more rental agreements and revenue in the long run due to the immediate
availability of the product.
