Cash America International will begin offering online cash advances in the United Kingdom through its existing Internet platform. The offering is subject to regulatory approval. If granted approval, the company plans to launch the UK service in the third quarter of 2007. Company officials expect loan volumes to "provide only nominal levels of asset increases throughout the remainder of 2007."

Cash America Chief Executive Officer Daniel R. Feehan said, “We see our entrance into the United Kingdom as a demonstration of our ability to touch new markets where we determine that the customer demand is sufficient to generate long-term opportunities for our Company." Feehan said the UK online cash advance services market is not as well developed as the U.S. market.

Cash America operates 925 payday loan and pawn locations in the U.S.
