Rentcash Inc. (RCS. TSX-VEN ) announced that it intends to undertake a non-brokered private placement of up to 1,500,000 Common Shares at a price of $1.00 per share for aggregate gross proceeds of up to $1,500,000.

Proceeds from the proposed private placement will be used for new store expansion and working capital.

Completion of the private placement is subject to regulatory approval, including satisfaction of requirements of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Closing is scheduled for on or about April 30, 2003.

Rentcash Inc. operates under two store banners: The Cash Store and Insta-rent. The Cash Store acts as broker to facilitate payday cash advance services to income earning consumers. Insta-rent rents brand name furniture, appliances, electronics and computers, with or without an option to purchase.
