ColorTyme Racing's Johnny Chastain and the Blondes Motorsports Team will finish out the 2006 season by running both nights of the Joe Lee Johnson Memorial Weekend at Cleveland Speedway this Friday and Saturday.

"Ever since we have been racing Late Models the Gobbler at Cleveland Speedway has been the last race of the season for us," said Johnny who had a championship year driving the Blondes Motorsports sponsored Late Model owned and wrenched by Randall Twiggs. "When they made the Gobbler part of the memorial weekend to honor Joe Lee (Johnson) it just made for a more exciting weekend with more racing and more money on the line."

Johnny is also looking forward to representing Pro Power Racing Engines again this year in the Engine Builder Challenge. Last year he finished third in the event behind winner Anthony White and runner up Skip Arp.

The Blondes Motorsports Team enjoys sponsorship help from Ashley Furniture, Blue Ridge Pawn, Interstate Welding, Ferris and Joan Brown and 007 H.A. Rogers. The GRT Pontiac GTO Late Model is owned and prepared by Randall Twiggs and is powered by a Pro Power engine.
