In October of 2005, Brown shot Jim Siburt in the abdomen, and
attempted to shoot Eric Rowe when the pair visited his home to
repossess a big screen TV. Siburt has had six surgeries as a
result of his wounds.
Brown was sentenced as a habitual offender. He served a year in
prison in 1997 for shooting at a co-worker.
Eric Rowe spoke to his attacker at the sentencing hearing
saying, "It would have gotten resolved. We treated you with so
much respect. We never gave you a hard time about anything. I
just don't understand why this happened."
