At the ColorTyme National Winter Operations meeting in Dallas, TX the ColorTyme Racing and ColorTyme Inc. will present a $1,560.00 check to Branson, MO based Kids Across America Foundation and Kamps.

For the last two seasons ColorTyme of Murphy, with help from many of ColorTyme's suppliers and home office, has been sponsoring a dirt Late Model driven by local standout Johnny Chastain. During the 2005 season ColorTyme of Murphy donated money to Kids Across America for every top five finish by Chastain and the ColorTyme Grand Prix.

"We have always had a good relationship with Gregg Bettis and Kids Across America and like what they do for the inner-city youth," said Daryl Rose of ColorTyme of Murphy. "We came up with this idea to donate money every time the ColorTyme Grand Prix finished in the top five and the folks at ColorTyme headquarters wanted to be a part of it. We are very pleased with the money and the awareness we were able to raise for Gregg's kids."

Chastain and the team had a good year scoring 10 wins and 30 top five finishes on the way to winning the track championship at Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue ridge, GA and finishing third in the point chase at Tri-County Race Track in Murphy, NC. After tallying the top five finishes a combined total of $1,040.00 was raised. ColorTyme Inc. put in 50 cents for every dollar donated by the team for a total of $1,560.00 for Kids Across America.

The ColorTyme Race Team enjoys sponsorship help from ColorTyme Rent to Own, Mitsubishi Electric, Philips, Ashley Furniture, JVC, Toshiba, Blondes Motorsports, Blue Ridge Pawn, Interstate Welding, Ferris and Joan Brown and 007 H.A. Rogers.
