LCD’s customer base and strengthen our position in the region.

The new customer service center will provide product repair and
warranty services to customers in the United States, Canada,
Mexico and Brazil. The service center will provide warranty
services primarily for LCD panels that are 32 inches and larger.
Mr. Sang Deog Yeo, executive vice president and head of TV
Business Unit at LG.Philips LCD, said, “We expect the facility
will play a vital role in expanding LG.Philips LCD’s customer
base and strengthen our position in the region.”
The opening ceremony for the facility took place Thursday, and
was hosted by Mr. Joon Ho Kim, vice president and head of the
Paju Quality Assurance Department at LG.Philips LCD. Invited
guests include representatives from major client firms such as
LG Electronics, Philips, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Apple, Syntax-Brillian
and Westinghouse. Officials from the city of Carlsbad in San
Diego County also attended.
